One of the best ways to continually grow as a photographer, stay on top of trends, and get inspired is by exploring the work of fellow photographers. But with so much content online, how do you know which blogs are worth your time—and where to find others who share your interests? That’s where Feedspot comes in.

With the tagline “Read all your favorite websites in one place”, Feedspot deals with a lot more than photography. Their content includes the work of over 400,000 active bloggers, podcasters, journalists, and influencers in 1,500 niche categories. Looking at Feedspot’s Blog Database, there’s everything from agriculture to baseball, history, marketing, science, whiskey, and a lot more.

Why Feedspot Works for Photographers

But for us, it’s the photography and travel categories that are the most relevant and interesting. Most important, it’s not just photography as a general catch-all. Rather, there is a long list of more specialized sub-categories – everything from wildlife to fine art, portrait, aerial, automotive, underwater photography and a lot more. Under each, there are listings such as the 100 Best, 25 Best, and so on, complete with links to the blogs.

Practically anybody can have a blog these days. Some are excellent and some…not so much. Feedspot sorts through those blogs, rating them according to several key criteria, thereby helping us to find trustworthy and credible sites.

Categories for Location, Gear, and Photo Editing

Photography is also categorized by location, by country, province or city. We’re proud that Photojourneys has been recognized as one of the 80 Best Canadian Photography Blogs and Websites. We’re currently in the Top 10.

Travel is another huge category, divided into countries and parts of the world. If you’re thinking of taking a trip to Mexico, for example, you can check out the 60 Best Mexico Travel Blogs & Websites. Heading to Spain? There are 60 Best here as well.
