Covered bridges represent an important part of New Brunswick’s heritage. From the longest covered bridge in the world at Hartland, to the newest at St. Martin’s, each covered bridge was an integral part of community life in New Brunswick.

The Fundy Trail Parkway in New Brunswick is a scenic 30-km coastal driving route along the Bay of Fundy with access to many trails, lookouts, beaches, and waterfalls.
We drove our car to Minister’s Island in the ocean near St. Andrews, New Brunswick but we didn’t take a ferry, bridge, causeway, or use any other man-made facility. The journey is one that is unique in Canada.
